Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Job Purpose:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $34.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8-hour shifts with overtime available. Day shifts, some projects may require evening shift. (Weekends as needed scheduled with notice)

Key Responsibilities of the Startup Mechanic include:
Coordinates with project manager(s), internal installation crews, and external contractors to provide wiring and controls integration support
Oversees and performs equipment on-boarding and configuration process
Installs controls, wiring, and duct smoke detectors
Performs a thorough quality assurance review of the installation (equipment mounting, electrical connections, plumbing connections and control wiring)
Inspects and approves physical wiring and controls integration with associated HVAC systems
Evacuates/charges refrigerant systems
Conducts manufacturer prescribed startup and commissioning processes on HVAC systems
Completes equipment informational and startup forms in a timely manner
Qualified candidates will have:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Preferred)
2 years minimum experience as a Start-Up mechanic.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a valid driver's license
