Dining Area Maintenance: Set and clear dining tables, floors, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times. Reset dining area quickly and efficiently for the next meal service. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including food carts, trays, and serving utensils. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with kitchen staff and dining services team to ensure accurate food preparation and service. Communicate any special dietary requests or concerns to the Dietary Manager or kitchen staff. Report any issues or concerns regarding food quality, safety, or resident satisfaction to the Dining Services Manager. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all food safety guidelines, sanitation standards, and health regulations in the preparation, service, and storage of food. Ensure proper use of food handling equipment and utensils to maintain hygiene. Additional Duties: Assist with inventory and food stock as needed. Attend training sessions or meetings as required. Provide assistance with special events or seasonal meal services, as directed. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar setting is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward elderly residents.
