Responsibilities: * Visit patients daily to provide menus and explain meal services * Obtain patient food preferences, verify food allergies/intolerances, and enter meal selections into EMR * Ensure food items meet prescribed therapeutic diet order restrictions and patient satisfaction * Perform trayline duties, assembling meals according to dietary requirements * Deliver food items/meal trays to units as needed * Answer unit phone calls for meal service and process food requests/orders * Print meal tickets/reports and maintain diet office responsibilities * Collaborate with healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Minimum six months food service experience required (one year of nutrition or dietetic education may be considered in lieu of experience) * High school diploma or GED * Customer service experience preferred * Food Handler's Certification preferred * Ability to: * Read, write, and speak in English * Read and follow written and oral instructions * Distinguish colors and hear sufficiently to safely complete job duties * Safely operate standard equipment required for the position * Work independently and as part of a team * Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) * Communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction Additional Requirements: * Ability to cover Diet Aide positions when colleagues call off, requiring flexibility and availability to work on short notice Compensation: * Salary range: $19-$24 per hour

About the Role The Seen Health Nutrition Services role works alongside the Registered Dietitian (RD) to help support nutrition-related services for older adults. This full-time Nutrition Services expert is accountable for assisting in the provision of safe, therapeutic nutrition services at Seen Health. This role receives vendor-prepared food, prepares it for participant meal service, verifies the temperatures of cooling and warming equipment are recorded as directed, and ensures that the kitchen area remains clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities Assist the Registered Dietitian to ensure all meals meet the therapeutic and cultural dietary needs of Seen Health participants. Updates information on dietary card and diet lists when information changes or as needed. Prepares and serves morning and afternoon snacks according to snack menu, portion control, diet orders, and time constraints. Receives, handles, and maintains vendor-prepared food in accordance with acceptable food storage standards. Measure, monitor and record food temperatures upon delivery, ensuring food remains safe and within the ranges as outlined in Seen Health policies and procedures. Prepares and serves morning and noon meal at a proper temperature with references to; diet, supplements, adaptive equipment needs and portion control. Label and date all perishable items in Seen Health refrigerators and freezers, including any pre- packaged home-delivered meals, ensuring freshness and safety. Maintains the inventory and restocks supplies on a regular basis. Monitors related expiration dates.
