Requirements
Education and Experience:

Duties & Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.

Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.
Fulfills the timely completion of necessary clinical documentation and communication of:
Daily Treatment Session Notes
Daily Treatment Target Data
Daily (If applicable) Behavior Data.
Keeps updated with other site-related documents and current clinical reports for each child served.

In this position, a few examples of the type of work you will be doing may include assisting the individual with: learning daily skills and activities, menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, budgeting, cleaning, using public transportation, making and attending appointments, volunteering, and participating in social leisure activities.

Provide in-home and community based assistance to consumers according to individual service programs set up by Valley Mountain California Regional Center and New Start SLS.

SUD Counselors are responsible for assessing participant needs and strengths in support of health and recovery in an incarcerated jail setting. Through counseling in individual and group settings, delivering curricula in accordance with program specific requirements, and case management. SUD Counselor IIIs assist participants in navigating systems of care while providing a supportive treatment environment. He/she will provide genuine warmth, empathy, and honest sensitivity with the goal of facilitating positive change in participants. Will act as a role model, modeling professionalism and positive pro-social life skills and behavior patterns always consistent with HealthRIGHT360 and Solano County jail guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual Treatment Responsibilities: Facilitates individual counseling treatment sessions with each caseload participant (caseload will not exceed 12 clients). Evaluates progress of each caseload participant and provides learning experience opportunities and offers clinical support to assist participants in meeting their treatment goals. Proactively links participants to both internal and external resources based on their treatment needs and follows up on the progress/status. Works with the participant to create a support network for the participant's pending return to the community.
Treatment Setting Responsibilities: Facilitates group counseling sessions and teaches classes on various treatment-related topics. Works directly with the participants to develop and implement a treatment service plan. Performs crisis intervention and communicates with treatment team as unforeseen situations arise. Plans and facilitates participant celebrations and special events. Covers caseload of absent colleagues when necessary. Responsible for delivery of program specific services to inmates participating in the SUD programs. Works in collaboration with program collaborative and institution staff attending joint meetings, required training and upholding all norms, policies, and procedures of Solano County Jail.
Administration and Compliance: In accordance with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT360 to satisfy internal and external administrative demands, those of Solano County Jail and other evaluating agencies, maintains accurate records on all participants. Is responsible for making sure that participant files comply, will adhere to the following paperwork requirements; weekly notes completed on time, initial treatment plans done within 30 calendar days, treatment plan updates completed every 30 calendar days, daily attendance recorded, one-on-one counseling sessions.
Must be willing to work a four-day work week, 10hr shifts.
