Pediatric experience is not required, neurosurgery training will be provided. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Direct Support Professional staff provides direct care services and supports to persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Duties consist of quality interaction and support of individuals in all activities of daily living, personal care, routine housekeeping, cooking, shopping, skills training and community integration. Settings in which services are provided include group home and community (public) settings.
Performs moderately complex (journey-level) habilitative and rehabilitative care work with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
This position is a floater position between group homes, serving homes that require the most need. There are 2 shifts available: evening & overnight. This position may work on a rotating schedule that changes every other week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery
Provides direct care, meaningful activities and skills training to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities as outlined in the Person Directed Plan, Individual Plan of Care and Implementation Plan. This may include assisting individuals with hygiene and personal care.
As a member of the service planning team, provides input regarding individuals service participation and progress towards goals.
Provides transportation for individuals based on identified service and support needs.
Assists in the implementation of behavior support plan, as determined by Licensed Behavior Analyst.
Health and Safety
Provides direct supervision of self-administration of medications, or administers medication in accordance with Physician's orders and as delegated by R.N.
Observes individual for signs and symptoms of disease, injury, reaction to medications, behavioral changes, or other conditions that warrant intervention. Report significant changes in individual's physical conditions or behavior to provider nurse, behavior support specialist, program supervisor, or in emergency situations, 911.
Utilizes approved techniques from Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) training to manage aggressive behavior among individuals, and provide intervention to ensure that individuals are protected from harm or injury.
Documentation
Completes progress notes and service logs within timelines specified by division policy.
Completes behavior data cards for clients with a behavior support plan.
All documentation must meet billing guidelines for the individual's specific program (ex. Home and Community-based Services).
Completes incident reports within the time frames specified by the center.
Responds to inquiries or directives from division staff tasked with data management and quality assurance. All inquiries should be responded to within 1 business day, unless a shorter timeline is required due to state reporting of encounter data or billing.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Demonstrate high ethical standards, trustworthiness, and personal integrity. Regular attendance, dependability, and promptness are required for the work day hours 100% of the time, to ensure consistency and completeness of program's processes. Professional Development - Successfully complete training required to maintain skill competency and cross training to ensure consistency across program procedures. Complete continuing education as required by professional standards and the Center.
Frequent daily driving within the catchment area is required.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Education/Licesning/Certification

The Funeral Arranger interacts directly with client families, making all arrangements, handling all aspects of the service, and ensuring the client's family receives a flawless experience that captures, acknowledges, and shares the life purpose of their loved one.
Overview & Responsibilities:
* Arranges, conducts, and directs bereavement rites, including funeral and memorial ceremonies, in a professional, organized and caring manner consistent with company policies and procedures
* Confirms authorization to proceed with the service arrangements
* Retains heritage and grows market share through active involvement with the community, religious and other organizations
* Ensures client families are informed of special recognition and services available for veterans and ensures the delivery of selected recognition and services
* Drives funeral vehicles as needed
* Assists at the chapel, church services, and cemetery
* Delivers flowers, caskets, urns, photos, and other personal keepsakes or mementos of client families
* Sets up and removes chairs, properly caring for and storing these items
* Provides aftercare in the absence of the Family Service Counselor
* Provides information on insurance, health benefits, and pension
* Shares pre-need referrals with Family Service Advisors
* Ensures adherence to all applicable professional, municipal, provincial/state, and federal licensing authorities, rules, and regulations
* Completes and accurately prepares all documents related to services, cremations, maintenance, and any other type of data entry
* Assists with general office duties, including answering phones and preparing reports as necessary
* Assists with the maintenance of vehicles, the facility, and property
* Receives caskets and other funeral home supplies as well as stock inventory
* Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience as a funeral assistant is preferred
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Availability to work on-call weekdays and weekends as needed
* Strong communication skills and high levels of compassion and integrity

Position Summary: Provides curriculum-based skills training to YES Waiver participants for skills that are affected by the participant's serious emotional disturbance and maintains Children's MH caseload as necessary and assigned in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards. Salary: $16.00 an hour plus incentive.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Education, Criminal Justice, or Counseling
Must qualify for QMHP-CS
Two (2) years' Human Services experience preferred
Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/ or addiction issues desirable
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
Current driver's license and a vehicle for use at work
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to speak a second language relevant to population served preferred
Must be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to learn and understand other electronic software programs/systems used by TCC
Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma.
The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
