The Window & Door Installer is responsible for the installation and warranty service for window and door products. The Installer works under the general direction of the Window & Door Department Supervisor.
Day to Day:
Analyzes jobsite prior to beginning a job to ensure that quality installation/repairs can be done.
Repairs assigned warranty products using the appropriate tools.
Inspect window and/or door for defects prior to installation
Track and monitor inventory supplies monthly
Position may require pushing, lifting, carrying and moving material in excess of 100 lbs.
Create and support a safe work environment.
Ensure that customers are treated respectfully.
React to problems and customer complaints in a patient and understanding manner.
Skill Set:
1+ years of previous experience installing and repairing windows and doors is required.
Strong knowledge of building materials and tools
Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work under time constraints
Possess strong math skills
Ability to follow directions both written and verbal

Description:
Under minimal supervision, you will review each work order and ensure proper materials are available. You will then set up the necessary equipment and material to assemble the doors according to the design provided. This includes cutting components accurately, hinge and lockset prep, and cutting and fastenings jambs, stops, and casings. Various assembly machinery is used as well as power, air and hand tools. The goal is to complete orders accurately and according to schedule.
Requirements:
