About the role.
McCain Foods is now accepting application for a Central Receiving Attendant to work a 12-hour night shift at our Burley, ID facility. Responsible for dispersing the raw material to predetermined holding bins. Ensuring appropriate raw sizing per specification for designated product and plants.
What you'll be doing.
Monitors and maintains product line flow to ensure all three plants receive consistent line flow at all times. Ensure production measures are met (sizer equipment working correctly).
Use skid loader (bobcat), forklift, shovel, wheelbarrow, high pressure water hose and other required equipment in the Central Raw Receiving area.
Troubleshoot technical faults across the Central Raw Receiving area and communicate with leadership, maintenance and electronics department to coordinate action plans to resolve issues.
Calculate and estimate data and accurately complete required records and reports.
Navigate through every part of the RS View Screen in order to troubleshoot Milestone equipment such as orange rollers, steel roller, FM Reverse Rollers, FM Blower Fans and any trash conveyance that is also part of the milestone.
Change and adjust sizing equipment as directed by needs of the factories or Manager.
Keep work area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and according to the principles of 5S.
What you'll need to be successful.
One to three months of related experience is preferred
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, effectively present information effectively before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
