Position Overview: The Apprentice Electrician, under the direction of the Master Electrician, is responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of industrial / commercial electrical equipment and systems. This position will be responsible for following the directions of the Journeyman Electrician to complete electrical maintenance and repair work.
Job Duties:
* The Electrician Apprentice will assist the Electrician with basic tasks
* Complete Maintenance work orders on electrical equipment. Testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects, troubleshooting, repairing equipment and replacing defective parts.
* Collaborate with other electrical staff to identify an resolve problems.

Skills/Qualifications:

Position Purpose:

Maintain appropriate records on completed work performed and forwards logs along with findings to the immediate supervisor.
Assist with equipment failure analysis.
Set up and check preventive equipment such as emergency generators, cathodic protection, change desiccant in water's air system, waste feed cut off testing, analyzer gas equipment, etc. to ensure that safety measures are maintained within the facility.
Maintains the proper paperwork daily by ensuring that it is filled out and updated accurately.

The Electronics Technician - Rapid PCBA is a member of our technician team in the Power Tool Electronics Laboratory. Your main responsibility will be populating printed circuit boards to deliver Electronic Prototypes on time, with high quality and with a continuous improvement mindset.
