Our Electrician position is responsible for troubleshooting, correcting, and maintaining all electrical equipment within the manufacturing facility.
What you will do:
Test electrical systems and circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or repair
Troubleshoot, program, and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Identify and troubleshoot objects using electrical control schematics
Work with vendors to identify needed parts and recommend to Supervisor
Understand and update instrumentation loop diagrams, E & I drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Program AC & DC variable speed drivers
Update power distribution system, MCC, and switch gears
Install electrical equipment consisting of variable frequency drives, diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Maintain and troubleshoot various optimizations systems
Required skills and experience you will need:
Lock-out procedures
Field Level Hazard Risk Assessments (FLHRA)
Electrical circuitry and components, including circuit breakers, motors, and controllers, control devices, motor theory, rigging, precision alignments
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Predictive and preventative maintenance
Computer and PLC skills
Able to use hand and power tools and to understand proper use, including multi-meters, knowledge of 480 volt 3 Phase AC
Be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime and to be on-call to support 24/7 operations
Have 4-5 years of Electrician work experience in the Industrial/Manufacturing environment
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check

The position of HVAC Install Apprentice/Helper is to deliver exceptional HVAC installation service to the customer by completing and installing HVAC equipment and accessories and to ensure all work is performed correctly and is reflective of Hiller's values.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Installation Technician with the installation of HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
Support Lead Installer in:
Installing HVAC related equipment.
Installing Sheet metal duct systems.

About this Role
The first step Apprentice will begin working on the job performing tasks related to his/her step. Step one Apprentice should concentrate on learning the skills necessary to climb and perform work from poles. All climbers must use 100% fall protection equipment when climbing and working aloft. At no time may a first step Apprentice perform energized work or get himself or any conductive object within five (5) feet of exposed energized primary circuits or equipment. Primary circuits are defined for the purpose of this program as having a voltage greater than 480. While working aloft on a completely de-energized line, the first step Apprentice must be supervised/observed by a qualified employee at the task location. While working aloft with energized circuits located on the pole, but not within five (5) feet of the first step apprentice, the first step Apprentice must be directly supervised and observed by a Lineman or Foreman at the same physical location as the Apprentice (on the pole with or in a bucket beside).
What You'll Do
Inspecting and climbing wooden poles.
Working from poles.
Using gas/battery powered drills and chainsaws from poles.
Installing pole hardware/framing from secondary applications.
Installing pole grounds/grounding rods.
Assisting in groundwork to support the Lineman aloft.
Guy wire tensioning and secondary guy wire /hardware installation.
Installing/splicing services.
Learning the use of the telescopic hot stick to open and close switches from the ground.
Primary hardware framing is not a requirement for the first step Apprentice, but the Apprentice may be allowed to assist with primary framing during de-energized conditions.

Step two will introduce the Apprentice to energized secondary work, de-energized primary framing, and bucket truck operation. Step two Apprentice may perform energized secondary work (up to 480 Volts) while being directly supervised by a Lineman or Foreman. The person supervising must be at the same physical location as the Apprentice (on the pole with or in the bucket with/adjacent to). Step two Apprentice may not be within reach or extended reach of the minimum approach distance of any energized primary conductor or equipment while working aloft.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Valid Class A CDL required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
* Must pass pre-employment and ongoing drug, alcohol, background, MVR, and clearinghouse checks.
* Must pass DOT physical examination.
* First Aid and CPR certification required (or ability to obtain).
* Competency in pole top rescue is required.
* Must be safety-focused and willing to follow all company safety protocols.
* Able and willing to travel long distances on short notice.
* Able and willing to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends.
* Able and willing to work in all weather conditions, including inclement weather.

About this Role
Step seven will be used to allow the Apprentice time to season and put to use all of the hands-on skills learned through steps one through six. Step seven instructions will focus on pre-Foreman leadership and planning skills. Step seven Apprentices will mentor on the job, lower step apprentices to help hone and demonstrate instruction and leadership skills. Step seven Apprentices may work up to and including energized primary circuits without direct supervision, as long as they can be observed by a qualified employee with the skills necessary to rescue them in the event of an emergency.
