About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical / PLC Technician to join our maintenance team in Elkhart. This hands-on role is focused on diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on production equipment in a well-established facility. While most of the plant is currently not automated, significant upgrades are planned, and this position will play a key role in supporting that transition.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on production equipment
Install and support equipment projects and upgrades
Troubleshoot and support PLCs (Allen Bradley CompactLogix, MicroLogix) and basic automation systems
Support robotics and automation programming as upgrades are introduced
Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints
Assist in vendor coordination and project upgrades as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing
3+ years working with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)
Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical drawings, and blueprints
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Overall, Purpose and Objective of Position

This position primarily operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a quiet, climate-controlled environment. While in the office, there is no regular exposure to loud noise, hazardous materials, or heavy machinery.

Education and Experience

The Role
