Responsibilities
Ability to assist and support the Plant Automation Engineer with the operation, maintenance, and programming of all plant instrument/analyzer systems including logic, analog and graphics, and all other technology that may be acquired
Assist in the maintenance of instrument/analyzer/electrical systems, server-based high-level analyzer systems, and data historians such as OSI Pi, FLS ECS/QCX; assist CIS with the maintenance of corporate IT network
Work with the plant's team to develop new control systems applications for projects
Work with the energy team to identify improvements and participate in energy audits
Assist with all aspects of capital projects including sizing of conductors and protective devices; load calculations for new and existing power systems in preparation for additions, changes, and capital projects interconnecting to the plant electrical system
Identify worn and defective components as well as appropriate replacements; provide field inspections and supervision for electrical work on projects
Support plant by diagnosing and correcting electrical problems
Provide technical and safety training to Plant Electricians
Complete design and drawing updates for replacement components
Ability to apply corporate standards to designs and solutions suggested/implemented; use new technologies at the plant such as smart MCCs, including design, training of electricians, and updating documentation/diagnostic systems
Replace or upgrade worn and depreciated components; design, change, and modify instrument/analyzer systems
Create and submit capital proposals
Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
Requirements/Qualifications
Willing and able to work flexible hours as needed to maintain plant instrument/analyzer systems
Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently
Ability to maintain skills as necessary to keep pace with the ever-changing and improving technology for plant instrument/analyzer systems
Strong communications and management skills - will work with, direct, assist and/or follow vendor services for troubleshooting and maintenance of all instrument/analyzer systems
Troubleshooting skills and critical thinking are a must
Ability to read and edit process flow drawings; the ability to read and create logic decision charts
Ability to travel - required to travel to company facilities and other meeting locations on occasion
Must be able to work cooperatively with plant and corporate personnel
Preferred:
Prior experience in computer automated control and instrumentation and/or cement production processes
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
Understanding of instrument/analyzer system fundamentals
Power distribution systems, relays, medium volt switchgear, instrumentation, PLC's, VFD's, etc.

What You Will Do
Supporting design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.

Testing and handling sensitive RF Hardware.

Qualifications You Must Have

Job Summary
Assists the Project Engineer with being the technical source of information for the project. Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and have responsibility for assisting in writing change orders, RFl's, meeting minutes, and reviewing Submittals. Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. This position includes three 'steps' (I, II and Senior), which provide for a progression of skill and experience. Step I is the entry level for individuals with a minimum of experience in this position. Step II is used for employees with 2 years of experience in this position, or with experience on larger and more complex projects. The 'Senior' step is used for employees with more than 4 years of experience and/or experience on significantly larger or more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting. Ensures the timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of meeting agendas, RFl's and daily reports.
2. Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and is involved in support and execution of the plan. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the change management process and performs project scope activities and supports the project team to ensure the work needed to complete the project successfully.
3. Ensures the administration of the project quality management plan and demonstrates and reinforces a culture of safety throughout the project.
4. May assist in the calculation of daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work. Participates in risk management including identification, analysis, response planning and monitoring and control on a project and demonstrates competency in understanding the environmental control processes for the project and takes corrective actions when necessary.
5. May be responsible for overseeing/managing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
6. May be responsible for the documentation and submittal for the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification of a building and for creating and updating Digital Record Drawings (ORD).
7. May provide lines, grades and layout as required for the project while maintaining an organized log book.
8. May provide the following weekly quantities: maintains accurate quantity logs and reports quantities in compliance with the cost control manual. Completed logs are to be filed with the project files. Perform elements of the processes involved in budgeting and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. Demonstrates business acumen within area of responsibility. (Not all Field Engineers track quantities)
9. Provides support to superintendents required for the execution of the work and assists in the resolution of field problems as necessary.

1. Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others is essential.
2. Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.

Compensation:

Overview
The Electrical Designer III performs technical activities on assigned projects under supervision of a licensed professional engineer, including participation in technical studies, investigations, and designs on assigned projects. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Electrical Engineer to join our team in the design and development of advanced electronics for LIDAR, imaging, and electro-optic systems. Experiences and Background We Look For:
BS or MS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (0-5 years of experience; equivalent education/experience considered).
Coursework or project experience in analog, digital, or power circuits.

Compensation:

Job Summary
Assists the Project Engineer with being the technical source of information for the project. Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and have responsibility for assisting in writing change orders, RFl's, meeting minutes, and reviewing Submittals. Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Step II is used for employees with 2 years of experience in this position, or with experience on larger and more complex projects. The 'Senior' step is used for employees with more than 4 years of experience and/or experience on significantly larger or more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting. Ensures the timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of meeting agendas, RFl's and daily reports.
2. Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and is involved in support and execution of the plan. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the change management process and performs project scope activities and supports the project team to ensure the work needed to complete the project successfully.
3. Ensures the administration of the project quality management plan and demonstrates and reinforces a culture of safety throughout the project.
4. May assist in the calculation of daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work. Participates in risk management including identification, analysis, response planning and monitoring and control on a project and demonstrates competency in understanding the environmental control processes for the project and takes corrective actions when necessary.
5. May be responsible for overseeing/managing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
6. May be responsible for the documentation and submittal for the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification of a building and for creating and updating Digital Record Drawings (ORD).
7. May provide lines, grades and layout as required for the project while maintaining an organized log book.
8. May provide the following weekly quantities: maintains accurate quantity logs and reports quantities in compliance with the cost control manual. Completed logs are to be filed with the project files. Perform elements of the processes involved in budgeting and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. 9. Provides support to superintendents required for the execution of the work and assists in the resolution of field problems as necessary.

The Test Equipment Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, to develop a test system for all Raytheon products. These core activities may be performed for both lab engineering and factory production test systems. The candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development and will be responsible for helping to maintain the technical, cost and schedule aspects of their assigned projects. They will be expected to act, either as a part of their team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.

What You Will Do:
• Design, development, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment in multidiscipline engineering teams
• Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
• Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects
• Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products
Qualifications You Must Have:
• Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with electrical engineering to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test
• Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic
• Experience with commonly used test equipment including but not limited to: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters
• Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics
Qualifications We Prefer:

Job Summary
Project Engineer Is the technical source of information for the project and should have a thorough knowledge of the construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders. Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. May assist with the supervision and/or training of Field Engineers. This position includes three 'steps' (I, II, and Senior), which provide for a progression of skill and experience. Step I is the entry level for individuals with a minimum of experience in this position. Step II is used for employees with 3 years of experience in this position, or with experience on larger and more complex projects. The 'Senior' step is used for employees with more than 6 years of experience and/or experience on significantly larger or more complex projects. Ideal candidate will have electrical installation on heavy industrial projects and/or work in self -perform electrical work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates an understanding of the components of the project management plan (PMP) including the project scope management plan, procurement plan, environmental plan, time management plan, financial plan, quality management and safety plans and risk management plan to ensure successful project execution. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the change management process.
2. Develops a procurement schedule and integrates it with the project CPM schedule. Procures necessary material and equipment. Coordinates submittals with other trades. Reviews all submittals for compliance with the contract documents.
3. Develops an understanding of the prime contract, subcontracts, purchase order agreements, and allowance items as well as contract drawings and specifications. Administers elements of the processes involved in budgeting and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. Demonstrates business acumen within area of responsibility.
4. Maintains "As-built" contract documents. Compiles close-out requirements, including operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and other job specific items required by the specifications.
5. May participate in concrete form design and related equipment selection and will participates in takeoffs
for concrete, asphalt concrete, earthwork, and utilities as required.
6. Plans, acquires, develops and supervises members of the project team to ensure relentless execution of the project.
7. Prepares and maintains quantity reporting mechanisms and coordinates agendas and prepares minutes for all meetings as well as maintaining various project logs.
8. Prepares and reviews change orders, including time extensions, with the appropriate personnel before submittal to the owner. Maintains the change order log and, upon receipt of executed change orders, distributes documents as required to company and subcontractor field personnel. Prepares cost control budget adjustments and executes in a timely manner.
9. Prevents claims, identify potential claims, quantify, mitigate/resolve the effects of those that do occur on a timely basis.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. An advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc., plus in depth
understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units, is required.
2. Four-year construction related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience, plus a minimum of three to four years of similar construction engineering experience.
3. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines. Should have the skill/ability to supervise and/or train Field Engineer positions if so required.
