Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program. Professional Engineering licensure is required with multistate eligibility. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to independently attend project meetings and present engineering assignments. Experience in leading electrical design efforts with minimal supervision. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Expertise in all aspects of electrical engineering for building systems, including knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA Life Safety Code, and energy codes. Proficiency in writing and editing specifications using CSI MasterFormat. Experience with due diligence field work to gather data for designs. Ability to manage construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs. Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with electrical modeling software such as SKM is a plus. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP is desirable. Project management experience is an advantage.
