What You'll Be Doing Job Scope: Generally responsible for performing routine designs of less complex engineering assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. The Building Electrical Group is responsible for all building electrical systems including lighting, fire protection and low voltage for our design build, industrial projects. We design and build food and beverage production facilities. Our building electrical team is involved with designing the electrical systems, calculating power loads, determining, and selecting equipment sizes, and vetting and selecting suitable vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors. The professional will have technical responsibility for scoping, performing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments. His/her specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Responsibilities Design electrical systems for building power, i.e. normal, emergency, and standby power distribution systems for 208v, 480v, and medium voltage for industrial facilities. This role, part of the Front-End Innovations (FEI) Team, focuses on hardware-centric proof-of-concept development, analytics, and rigorous testing to validate new product concepts for the PROCELL B2B business. The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making, hardware optimization, and system-level integration to ensure robust performance in real-world environments. The individual will work closely with senior FEI engineers to design, build, and test prototypes, conduct detailed data analysis, and develop automation tools for testing workflows. This role also includes ownership of PoC deployments, ensuring successful implementation and feedback integration from field trials.
