Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Design electrical aspects of machinery utilizing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
Analyze electrical designs to ensure adequate component life, functionality, and conformance to process demands and industry standards
Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to develop seamless, fully integrated machine designs
Assist the commercial and sales teams with technical proposals and customer-specific applications
Support equipment testing, data collection, and documentation of results
Provide engineering support for new equipment and machine upgrades on assigned product lines
Support sold and development projects in collaboration with sales, marketing, and engineering teams
Create and maintain technical documentation and product specifications

We are seeking a motivated Junior ElectricalEngineer to assist in the design and documentation of electrical systems for building projects. In this role, you will work under the guidance of licensed engineers to develop technical drawings, assist in system layouts, and ensure designs comply with industry standards and project requirements. Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of electrical system layouts, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
Prepare and update electrical drawings and documentation based on engineer input and project specifications.
Support engineers in conducting calculations for lighting, power distribution, and other electrical systems.
Research and apply relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, state/local codes).
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure design integration.

The Electrical Design Engineer will perform a wide variety of electrical magnetics design engineering duties, as assigned, that involve the preparation of electrical designs, modification of existing designs and related engineering changes for company-produced electrical transformer magnetics products. Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries, define product specifications and performance requirements, design and quote on modifications to existing designs in accordance with established Engineering policies. Collaborate with Senior Engineers or Manager on the more complex, unusual, or new designs.
Design magnetic components and prepare proposals on price, delivery, and other related information for approval, as directed. Prepare specifications on approved prototypes and regular production requirements. Specify materials, provide coil winding operation sheets, assembly instructions, bills of material, and applicable engineering drawings, as required, for manufacturing. Process engineering change notices (ECNs) and submit for approval.
Define design drafting requirements and approve prepared designs and layouts. Define performance characteristics and review test procedures and results for approval. Prepare new test methods in collaboration with the Manager, Engineering Laboratory, and provide support and assistance to the Quality Assurance function.
Communicate with customers, as directed, to better define their requirements and provide applications assistance. Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing Engineering, Accounting, and Purchasing functions to provide prompt response and service to customers on quotations and follow-up on production specification, delivery, or other related matters.
Provide support and assistance to Senior Design Engineers in the day-to-day development of magnetics designs, specifications, and testing procedures. Participate in the development and utilization of a computer database to provide efficient design practices and procedures as well as computer systems in development for manufacturing resources planning. Collaborate with others in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales, as required, to assist in interpretation of the process, validity, and feasibility of the specific engineering problem. Prepare technical reports and compile engineering data in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Develop proprietary component designs with ease of manufacture for the growth and profitability of the Company. Participate in Company presentations to customers. Host outside Inspectors when visiting the plant. Participate in Engineering, Technical, and Trade Association activities to remain abreast of industry developments.
Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
Perform other related duties as assigned or associated with the responsibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in ElectricalEngineering, Physics, or related field.
Over 3 years up to and including 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
Broad knowledge of electricalengineering principles.
Familiarity with magnetic and dielectric materials, heat transfer, and circuit applications pertaining to magnetic components.
Knowledge of magnetics manufacturing practices.
