Your responsibilities
* Perform preventive and planned maintenance jobs as requested by Shift Maintenance supervisor, Production Supervisor, Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Planner.
* Maintaining and repairing the electrical network and devices of the facility.
* Maintaining and repairing of lighting systems of the facility
* Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses with other maintenance team members to repair said malfunction.
* Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
* Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
* Active participation in planned plant shut downs to determine the electrical maintenance requirements of systems and devices within the facility.
The experience we're looking for
* Journeyman electrical license (required)
* 5+ years of working with electrical/electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
* Must be able to work nights
* Strong knowledge of packaging, liquid and powder processing (preferred)
* An understanding of maintenance best practices, safety, quality, cost, HACCP, GMP and regulatory compliance (preferred).
