This individual resides in production and has oversight responsibility for the integrity and execution of product test, troubleshooting and repair in a defined section of David Clark manufacturing. This job requires hands-on involvement with all aspects of the production process; including active participation in methods of manufacture with the goal of improving productivity while maintaining world-class quality standards. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Coordinate and maintain oversight of product flow through test and products returned for repair. This includes, but is not limited to, Disassembly of customer returned products, Diagnosis of failure, Repair and reassembly of the repaired product Test and QA audit of the repair prior to return to the customer. Troubleshoot down the component level, sub-assemblies or final product that have been returned seeking the most efficient and cost effective means to identify and repair faults. Initiate timely corrective action based on troubleshooting findings. Interface with Engineering to improve test philosophies, fixtures and procedures.
