The Surveyor Instrument Technician provides support to the Surveyor Party Chief in the daily responsibilities of the land surveying department. This position is responsible for collecting survey data using designated survey equipment. Ideal candidates must be willing to travel to support project needs. POSITION PURPOSE The Controls Service Technician role primarily involves starting up, trouble shooting and repairing complex controls on HVAC equipment consisting of primarily, but not limited to, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, dedicated outside air units, hot water boilers, computer room units, water source heat pumps, VAVs, packaged rooftops and split DX units. A service technician is also expected to meet with end-users monthly as part of service contracts to maintain their system and assist with their needs. Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent from a Technical / Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and two (2) years related experience; or five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
