The P&C System Control Technician provides support for Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) used for real-time transmission operations using standard SCADA protocols as well as intra-substation OT device communication using standard industrial control system (ICS) protocols. R&P is looking for an experienced Marine Electrician / Technician II to fill a full-time position undertaking a variety of tasks relating to installing, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment onboard U.S. Navy ships in Pascagoula, MS. This position will involve installing electrical cabling, building various electrical connectors, Installation of hardware and troubleshooting malfunctions in several different electrical and electronic systems. R&P Technologies is looking for Master technical skills and waterfront knowledge under supervision of a Lead Technician Level IV. Provide training to Technician Level II and I personnel. They are responsible for reporting all task completions and production obstacles to their Lead Technician and will be capable of standing in as Lead Technician when required. Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with ship specification requirements while complying with all OSHA, NAVSEA, ABS, local shipyard, and R&P safety policies and procedures. Execute plans of electrical installations to include, but not limited to 115VAC/440VAC/Various VDC equipment, fiber optics, lighting, announcing, RF antennas, audio/video, interior communications and alarms, and network systems. They will operate efficiently in a team environment and demonstrate effective leadership qualities while dealing with junior personnel. Receive mentorship/guidance from Lead Technician or Task Lead for questions on any assigned tasks that are not fully understood. An Electronic Technician lay's out, builds, tests, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies electrical and electronic components, parts, equipment and systems. Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and components, to include associated command and surveillance systems. 5 years of experience as an Electronic Technician. Able to read and interpret drawing, schematics and other electrical/electronic technical documentation. Familiar with applicable commercial and Government specifications and codes. R&P is looking for an experienced Marine Electrician / Technician II to fill a full-time position undertaking a variety of tasks relating to installing, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment onboard U.S. Navy ships in Pascagoula, MS. This position will involve installing electrical cabling, building various electrical connectors, Installation of hardware and troubleshooting malfunctions in several different electrical and electronic systems. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must also be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems.
