Position Responsibilities: Lead collaboration with Suppliers to develop and enhance advanced electronic warfare systems, ensuring that designs meet specifications and operational requirements. Collaborate with Suppliers to develop and refine electronic warfare systems, ensuring alignment with requirements and specifications. Assist in the integration of electronic warfare systems into a tactical aircraft platform, ensuring that all components function together effectively. Conduct assessments of electronic warfare technologies and systems, analyzing performance metrics and compliance to requirements and standards. Develop and implement test plans and procedures to validate the functionality and effectiveness of electronic warfare systems, including both laboratory and flight testing. Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, plans and procedures. Identify, troubleshoot and resole technical issues that arise during the development and integration phases of the electronic warfare systems. Ensure that all electronic warfare systems meet relevant military and regulatory standards, including safety and operational requirements. Support project management activities, including tracking progress, managing timelines and coordinating resources related to electronic warfare system development. As an independent division within Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Inc., ControlTech Automation (CTA), is a control panel integrator and fabricator for process, packaging, utility, and other industries. CTA is based in St. Louis and specializes in control panels for system integrators and production facilities located throughout the United States. CTA can provide control solutions for a single piece of equipment, an entire process or the entire plant. CTA has engineering design capabilities or will build panels from customer-supplied design packages. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy. What You'll Do You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Validate Engineered solutions Collect entire design packages and build packages Act as Liaison between Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing Schedule and execute engineering and manufacturing handoff meetings Create Bills of Materials for non-engineered solutions Interface with our client and distributor representatives Research alternate electrical components to optimize delivery, design, and cost Assist in designing custom Industrial Control Panels based on specified criteria. What You'll Bring 1+ year(s) of related industrial automation fabrication experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of systems. This position requires the ability to successfully execute multiple project responsibilities with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. This position supports the entire engineering team and reports directly to the Engineering Manager. Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware and networks is a plus but not a requirement. A Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.
