Job Summary

Counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocate, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider or physician on prevention and treatment plans. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements.
Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Required Education and Experience

Certifications: Basic Life Support ACLS
Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, procedures and medical ethics equivalent to years of experience.
Excellent communication skills across disciplines and at various levels.

Must hold current Registered Nurse (RN) with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific license.
Knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures as well as the applicable state laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions.
Demonstrates leadership ability while promoting the spirit of cooperation with team members.
Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
