    Job Description The Systems Engineer will lead product development and system design for our New Product Engineering (NPE) group. The systems engineer position is responsible for unit performance, product validation, issue troubleshooting and product costing. The position requires technical and conceptual knowledge of the detailed design and system performance aspects of industrial refrigeration products. The position is the owner of technical information and the technical lead within a project team. The systems engineer will interact extensively with core technologies, PMO, engineering systems, product management, manufacturing, supply chain, other functions, and BAC partners. NATURE & SCOPE The Systems Engineer reports directly to the Engineering Team Lead PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for the on-time completion and management of deliverables of new product development, sustaining engineering, cost reduction, and other projects as assigned with the product category. Investigates and analyzes product design requirements, reconciles the specification against industrial refrigeration customer requirements and recommends optimum solutions.
