About the job The R&D Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing processes necessary to successfully commercialize new products. This position works closely with manufacturing team to implement these processes on full-scale launches and leads any trouble-shooting activities in the post-launch phase. This role will help develop solutions based on technical and business needs. Qualified Candidates Will Have: Bachelor's degree in food science with at least five years of experience. Proven track record of successful projects involving process design and scale-up of new food products. Experience working in a manufacturing environment and ability to troubleshoot. Familiarity with manufacturing processes for producing food-grade materials. Experience with financial evaluation of new processes and equipment. Some formulation experience with the development and scaling of new products into Customers. Understanding of process and operations to scale manufacturing. Reliability Engineering Team Lead Huntsman is seeking a Reliability Engineering Team Lead supporting the Performance Products Division located in Freeport, Texas. This position will report to the Engineering Manager. Job Scope This position is responsible for the overall mechanical reliability of the plant including both fixed and rotating equipment and provides oversight and direction for mechanical and electrical engineering maintenance resources which provide daily support to operations through reactive and proactive means. The reliability engineering function of this position will partner with and support operations through identification and reduction and/or elimination of production losses and high maintenance cost assets to promote plant objectives in the areas of environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Plant Engineer who will be based at and support our Texas City TX, ASU enclave. The Texas City TX ASU enclave consists of the two largest ASU's on LINDE's Houston pipeline network, as well as a standalone nitrogen liquefier and pipeline backup array. The Plant Engineer will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support with emphasis on plant improvements, process safety, and process consistency. The plant engineer will interface with various functional teams including Safety & Environmental Services (S&ES), Maintenance, Reliability, Project Engineering, Productivity, Process Controls, Process Safety, as well as operating teams at other ASU facilities in the US. The Plant Engineer will report directly to the Plant Manager and will work M-F days with expected off hours and weekend support, both remote and onsite. Primary Responsibilities\: Provide process safety stewardship in areas of operating procedures, operating/technical manuals, critical safety systems, management of change, pre-startup safety reviews, process hazards analysis, incident investigations, audits and assessments, alert compliance, operations training, alarm management, P&ID updates, and action item follow-up. Lead plant startups / shutdowns and provide as-needed support for plant turnaround planning and execution. Lead and assist in quality assurance (ISO 9000) training and system management. Qualifications: BS + 2 / MS + 1 year experience in an engineering role preferably in an industrial environment. Must have strong technical skills including knowledge of practical application of Process Safety procedures such as PHA, MOC, and RCA. Must be willing to work in a hands-on environment. Must have a positive attitude, be willing to quickly adapt to changing situations, have strong communications skills, and a strong will to build and maintain productive relationships across departmental lines. Must be able and willing to adapt to a work schedule that coincides with plant operational needs. Must also be able and willing to work for extended periods of time in an operating plant under various environmental conditions. Must also be able and willing to work inside of confined spaces. Job Summary: Yokogawa is seeking an Analytical Systems Engineer with responsibility for delivering customer satisfaction through the application of specialized chemical engineering knowledge and professional judgment in the analysis, design, and implementation of analytical systems.
