Job Summary:
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and lead a team of Project Engineers. You will oversee project engineering activities and guide the project engineering group. Your role includes providing technical support and expertise on all capital projects. You Will:
Ensure project engineering activities are performed to enhance safety, equipment reliability, energy efficiency, production and compliance with regulatory statutes.
Supervise the Project Engineering group.
Supervise Engineering and Construction contractors to ensure that all plant replacements, modifications, and additions are performed in strict conformity with design specifications and applicable code requirements

Facilitate the Engineering work request process, support turnaround planning and work on special projects as required.
You Have:
Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in project execution in a nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing plant, chemical manufacturing facility or refinery (preferred).
10+ years of experience in an engineering role.
Previous experience supervising a team of engineers or a strong technical background in the fertilizer manufacturing industry.
Experience in project management and implementation.
Significant experience with capital project (>$5M) scope development, estimating, and execution.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams or contractors (consultants, I&E, welding, fitting, crane, pipefitting, etc.).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following represents the majority of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary.
1. Complies with DOT and OSHA health, safety and environmental requirements and follows safety philosophy and procedures developed by the Company including: applicable environmental, health and safety rules, procedures, and accepted safe work practices, the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems, and the reporting of workplace hazards and injury or illness arising from workplace activities; observes the workplace to identify conditions or behaviors that should be corrected and takes appropriate action.
2. Provides guidance and indirect supervision to the project contractors, construction crews and inspectors in the performance of contracted services; determines work priorities and schedules work assignments; supplies necessary documentation to safely excavate the pipe for anomaly evaluation and remediation, ensures all safety protocols are followed, evaluates completed project against established performance parameters, and creates and maintains all records associated with excavation, inspection and repair activities.
3. Leads the management of assessment and remediation projects from initiation through closure including, but not limited to, completion of field surveys, preparation of estimates, development of project plans and bid packets, purchase of materials, selection and management of external contractors, coordination of construction and inspection activities, reporting project status updates, monitoring budgets and timelines, and completion of project documents.
4. Performs asset integrity assessments including in-line inspection tool runs and hydrostatic tests; identifies and classifies anomalies according to Company criteria.
5. Determines level of investigation required at scheduled dig sites, determines defect assessment methods, repair criteria, and repair methods.
6. Evaluates Excavation/Direct Examination daily results, compares field results with reported In Line Inspection results, and reviews and approves In Line Inspection Excavation/Direct Examination reports.
7. Assists with higher complexity tasks such as drain down plans, hydrotests, encroachment evaluations and specification development under the guidance of supervisor or a senior level engineer.
8. Monitors and occasionally inspects welding during pipeline maintenance projects and maintains listing of qualified and available welding contractors.
9. Reviews and recommends appropriate settlement of landowner property damage claims, assisting Legal with the negotiation of right-of-way claims with landowners to resolve right-of-way concerns associated with integrity assessment and remediation projects.
10. Participates in pipeline and facility Risk and Preventive and Mitigative Measure (PMM) reviews.
11. Provides technical support during Integrity Management Program (IMP) process and procedure review to maintain consistency in assessment and rehabilitation practices.
12. Represents the Company during regulatory audits as a key member of the Asset Integrity Department.
13. Serves on Company initiatives or projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
· A bachelor's degree in engineering; chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical, or petroleum preferred - construction management, industrial management or technology degree of the same, or equivalent in experience and a minimum of three (3) years of prior pipeline integrity and maintenance experience is required. Experience in pipeline locating, excavation, trenching, nondestructive testing, and CWI certification is preferred. Additional experience in cathodic protection, coatings, GIS, and Hazwoper Incident Commander level training is preferred.

Working Environment
Most of this role is performed in a professional temperature-controlled office environment when not working from a home office, remotely, or onsite at a project location.
Additionally, this role is required to attend site visits. During site visits, there may be exposure to a variety of environmental conditions, such as being outdoors, being in indoor non-temperature-controlled environments, and maneuvering into tight spaces to scan existing electrical power and lighting systems. During site visits, you will work long days (10-12 hours) to complete 3d scanning jobs at client locations. These are typically week-long trips and happen 3- 4x per calendar year.

Leverage both existing and proposed cloud services to improve the cloud experience for other teams within the organization. Lead infrastructure initiatives and projects. Work independently and on teams to achieve CFED IT objectives. Provide impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Infrastructure Engineer II: Pay commensurate with experience.

Infrastructure Engineer II Responsibilities Include:
Defines and documents best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
Provides guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies.
Completes assigned tickets related to cloud services.
Works with systems and database administrators to implement cloud architectures that utilize industry best practices.
Deploys and configures technologies and corresponding software.
Implements cloud technology policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and archives to ensure effective protection and integrity of storage appliances and stored data assets.
Establishes appropriate end-user access control levels for stored data.
Performs tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements with end-users regarding security, and availability.
Reviews and deploys cloud system releases and vendor-supplied patches according to best practices.
Follows change control, incident response, and testing processes for modifications to cloud technologies and software.
Anticipates, mitigates, identifies, responds to, and resolves issues with cloud, storage access, and data retrieval.
Research and makes recommendations on cloud products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
Monitors, analyzes, and predicts trends for cloud infrastructure performance, space allocation, and data growth to recommend enhancements to the IT storage team.
Maintains cloud systems support and architecture documentation.
Works off hours to provide support for cloud services administration.
Provides regular status reports on an agreed upon period of time.

Infrastructure Engineer II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or other related field
4 to 6 years working with network/security concepts as well as system performance configuration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
4 to 6 years of Microsoft cloud services experience in a professional environment including but not limited to O365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Exchange.
Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce and ServiceNow.
Intermediate knowledge of O365 including Rollout, Upgrade, and Support.
Intermediate knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, which includes Transition, Migration, Architecture, Support and Rollout.
Intermediate knowledge of cloud virtualization platforms like VMWare vSphere, VMWare Realize Solutions, Microsoft VMM, Windows Azure and Amazon Web services platforms.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Access Identity Management including Azure AD, ADFS and SSO.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for technical issues demonstrating strong problem-solving and technical skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and have proven experience in organizing, planning, scheduling and be able to execute high profile projects.
Ability to work successfully in an environment with minimal direction.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks when under extreme pressure.
Ability to handle changing work priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work across lines, both within IT and outside IT; approachable and willing to receive input and constructive feedback.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
Three (3) years minimum experience as a manufacturing engineer in a machine shop environment
Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes, gearing, NC programming (preferably with Esprit CAM System, and tool design utilizing a CAD based system.
Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience
