Complete daily job journals with input from Foreman
Assist with any manual checks and termination slip(s) and send all information to payroll

Your Role as a Field Engineer

Our Ideal Candidate:
Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience: At least 1 year of construction experience required. Relevant internships or equivalent hands-on experience in construction may also be considered to meet this requirement.
Foundational knowledge of construction terminology, processes, and plan reading.
Exposure to construction scheduling, cost tracking, and job site safety practices.
Proficient with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore or similar construction software is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing:
Working in production support and associated tasks like monitoring of the individual queues, ticket updates as per SLA, working with stakeholders to take the tickets forward and provide effective resolution
Analyze, debug and troubleshoot software programs and applications. Perform fixes for software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and participate in software upgrades, revisions, and patches
Maintaining and providing production support for the existing systems as needed
Engaging with various stakeholders to provide updates for tickets
Guide developers on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems; review work of development teams
Building and maintaining a document repository with global partners
Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple locations when necessary
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Provide on-call production support
What We're Looking For:
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
Experience debugging Oracle PL/SQL and writing advanced level queries, specifically in Oracle PL/SQL
Knowledge in Kotlin or Java is a plus
Work in a fast-paced environment coordinating with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems
Contributes to process improvements
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with business users
Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

Impact:
Architect and operationalize Spark at scale as a core component of Cisco Data Fabric, enabling customers to access and analyze exponentially more data across diverse organizational sources. Build resilient, always-on infrastructure with automatic retry logic, fault tolerance, and seamless integration across myriad data sources and formats including Parquet, Iceberg, and modern table formats. Design the operational backbone-monitoring, observability, error handling, and horizontal scalability-that enables hundreds of engineers to build features confidently on solid foundations. Establish architectural patterns and support mechanisms that ensure high availability while maintaining performance at petabyte scale. Success is measured by customer adoption of data fabric capabilities and operational reliability metrics-uptime, ingestion performance, and incident reduction-that directly impact customer value.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 15+ years of related experience; or Master's with 12+ years; or PhD with 8+ years or equivalent experience
* Designed and deployed production Spark deployments at scale in cloud environments
* Experience with modern data formats including Parquet, Iceberg, and related table/columnar formats
* Production experience with AWS cloud platform
* Led technical decisions and architectural direction across engineering organizations of 50+ engineers
Preferred Qualifications:
* Production experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms
* Experience integrating with diverse data platforms such as Snowflake, Pinot, Databricks, Trino, or similar systems
* Extensive Kubernetes experience in production environments
* Proven track record mentoring and growing engineers, with strong collaboration skills across sponsors, design, product management, and engineering teams

U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:
* 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
* 1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
* Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
* Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
* 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
* Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
* Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
* .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
* 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
* 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
* Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Naval Reactors Engineers have oversight of the Navy's entire fleet of nuclear-powered ships as well as shore-based prototypes and nuclear propulsion support facilities for Americas Navy. The wide array of technical areas involved in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program include:

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
