SummaryJob Description The Engineering Technician's primary duty is to meet production objectives by conducting special test processes of electronic devices. Responsibilities include administering functional tests along with troubleshooting at a system level down to the component level and maintaining records of the mentioned special test processes. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform special test following test specifications and procedures for high volume manufacturing Set up and perform test with minimal direction using sophisticated equipment - perform analyses and diagnostics of process, products, computers, and test equipment used in systems verification. Troubleshoot electronics systems, circuit card assemblies to component level with analog, digital, and microprocessor-based circuits, assemblies, and test equipment Capability in the assembly/dis-assembly of test equipment and product.
