Summary

What you will do:
This role will be responsible for general troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical repairs
Leverage all standard test equipment for installations, calibrations, and planned maintenance:

Read, analyze, interpret and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams

Meet the Team
As a Consulting Engineer within the Cisco Customer Experience (CX) Consulting organization, you'll collaborate with your team to gain experience in real-world customer environments, making a tangible impact. Your role involves designing and delivering technology solutions to help Cisco customers achieve their business goals. You can specialize in one of five architectural teams: Data Center, Cloud, Security, Collaboration, or Enterprise Networking.

Minimum Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a certification program (e.g., Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College), or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Relevant fields include: in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Networking, Computer Science or Engineering
* Knowledge of IT systems, networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, network devices and applications, and the OSI model.
* Proficient in Python, REST APIs, Automation.
* Able to legally live and work in the country for which you're applying, without visa support or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
* Awareness and general understanding of how consumer applications work over the internet (e.g., Browser, Voice/Video calls, Social Networks, Streaming etc.).
* Comfortable with Data Analysis, crafting visualizations such as graphs and heatmaps.

How Will You Make an Impact?
Interns at Brown and Caldwell make a daily, material impact by completing support duties to advance their team's projects and objectives. They receive professional training and the support of their team. As a Summer Intern, you can expect your experience to include the following:
* Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, designers, and BIM leads to execute work on water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure projects.
* Assist in the preparation of engineering and design deliverables including drawings, specifications, technical memoranda, reports, schedules, and figures.
* Communicate effectively and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams (e.g., drafters, designers, engineers).
* Perform edits and updates in Revit and AutoCAD models based on engineering changes and markups.
* Participate in the full project lifecycle, including design, documentation, and construction support.
* Conduct field work such as site investigations and construction observations as needed.
* Support data-related tasks including entry, analysis, visualization, and documentation to inform design decisions.
* Check design deliverables for consistency, readability, and adherence to standards and specifications.
* Provide engineering services during construction, including performance checks and conformity assessments.
* Manage and deliver assignments on time, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
* Complete an Internship Capstone project demonstrating skill development, learning, and accomplishments gained during the summer internship experience.
Work schedule and location: Summer Interns with Brown and Caldwell work a full-time schedule of 40 hours a week and may have the potential for hybrid work schedules and fieldwork
Desired Skills and Experience:
What Must Our Candidate Have? (Required)
* To qualify for an internship, you must be enrolled as a student seeking a degree in engineering (Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field), science, geology, or a related field.
* You must be enrolled for the 2025-2026 academic year and plan to continue in Fall 2026.
* You also must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Salary Range: The hourly pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Location A:
Hourly $18.40 - $25.20
Location B:
Hourly $20.20 - $27.70
Location C:
Hourly $22.00 - $30.20

Huntsman is hiring for our 2026 Summer Engineering Internship Program in the disciplines of Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Our summer intern program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled full-time students at an accredited four-year college or university. The internship runs from May to August - dependent on the school calendar. The goal of the Huntsman Intern Program is to provide a structured program that will equip interns with the skills and experience to help prepare for a successful career. The internship program will allow interns to apply knowledge learned in school to a real-world manufacturing or R&D setting, and gain insight into the operation of a multinational chemical company
As an Engineering Intern you will:
Assist in the development of Asset Life Plans, troubleshoot equipment failures, and identify corrective actions.
Identify process improvement opportunities related to these troubleshooting efforts.
Participate in the project scope and cost estimate development for projects assigned.
Work with engineers and construction coordinators on installation, testing, and commissioning of newly installed devices.
Assist with the troubleshooting of equipment in the field and provide technical support as needed.
Participate in both onsite and offsite technical training opportunities.
Be assigned small projects to lead from conception through completion.
Attend project team meetings and report project status updates.
Ensure compliance with all corporate procedures and guidelines. Ensure that annual required training is completed on-time.
Full time presence in the workplace is required. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives at all levels of the organization.
Assists other employees in accomplishments of Huntsman company goals. Follow instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Full time college student at the Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level by the end of Spring 2026.
Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent program.
Must have 3.0 or higher GPA.
Knowledge of the basic principles and methods used in chemical plant manufacturing and analyses.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
Able to build relationships across all organizational lines.
Excellent computer skills; especially proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
