Internship Job Duties: Assist the Process Engineering team in supporting day-to-day operations Collaborate across multiple units (operations, quality, safety, maintenance) to identify opportunities to reduce equipment downtime. Implement equipment and process improvements Develop and submit change control documentation Support team with capital project related activities Communicate with key stakeholders at the site Internship Qualifications: Enrolled in an engineering degree program during the Spring term preceding internship Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Biosystems (Mechanical Engineering preferred). Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies and a 3.0 GPA or higher. (Western Michigan or Michigan State students preferred) Candidate interested in pursuing a career in the Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry preferred. At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S. Successfully pass a background check and drug screen. Must be physically residing in the U.S for the entirety of the internship. Good communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to interact with all levels of the Zoetis organization. Can articulate issues and solutions to the team. Can produce effective project reports and presentations. Can analyze problems and provide support in determining appropriate corrective and preventative actions, with minimal assistance. Capable of simultaneously managing multiple assignments. Prioritizes own work. Flexible and responsive to changes. Candidate must not be Cephalosporin/Penicillin sensitive.
