Basic Qualifications:
* Student pursuing an Engineering degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Materials-Structures / Automotive
* Experience with fundamental engineering concepts
* Experience with CAD, FEA & CFD software
* Member of a Formula Student racing team is a plus
* Self-motivated, flexible, independent
* Duration: 3-6months

Pay Range
The pay for this role is:
$25 an hour

About the role:
Seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Engineering Intern to join our Niterra North America OEM team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Automotive industry.
Your Responsibilities:
Support daily engineering activities (i.e. attend customer meetings, prepare meeting minutes, etc.) by shadowing engineers.
Assist engineers with system or component troubleshooting.
Assist test engineers with testing in our Technical Center and at Customer sites
Creates reports when necessary.
Coordinate customer testing requirements and requests with technical center.
Process customer returned parts (i.e. preliminary examination, create request for investigation).
May be responsible for project-based tasks and assist in completing some special projects, as applicable.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures including IATF16949 and ISO14000 related policies as applicable.
Who we are looking for:
Engineering major (Concentration in mechanical or electrical engineering)
Working towards completion of an Engineering degree, some knowledge of automotive systems is very helpful.
Completion of junior year by the start of internship preferred; Completion of sophomore year considered.
Possess a strong interest in the automotive industry.
A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job
