Title: Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer Hours: AM Shift *This is NOT an entry level position, please do not apply if you do not have 3-5 years of working experience, you will not be considered at this time* If your application was recently rejected, please do not re-apply* Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer's primary function is to bridge the gap between Engineering and Operations and provide support to improve the overall efficiency and quality of the product and production cycle. Key Responsibilities: Support the mechanical (and basic electrical) assembly process by interpreting approved design models/drawings and communicating the solutions to the shop floor. Improve the overall efficiency of the plant assembly process, including fabrication and painting. Support root-cause analysis and develop corrective measures with QA for issues that extend through the manufacturing process. Work with Engineering and Operations to develop methods, tools, jigs, etc., for improving the assembly Qualifications & Experience: College Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering Technology or University Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering. Min 3-5 years of Manufacturing Engineering and manufacturing experience in fabrication and working in the production environment. Able to use SolidWorks, PDM, and ERP with at least two years of relevant experience. A minimum of one year of product design experience is required. The ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings. Electrical knowledge would be considered an asset. Must have a valid driver's license and travel primarily in North America but potentially abroad. Additional Requirements: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of OSHA. Understand how this position impacts the quality of products and services provided to our customers. Produce quality work (on-spec., on time, on budget) and take pride in your craft.
