Financials: Assist the Project Manager with monthly pay applications, change order pricing, and invoice coding. Closeout: Lead the closeout process by collecting warranties, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings to deliver a complete turnover package to the client. Field Support & Quality Control Site Presence: Regularly walk the site with the Superintendent to track progress, document safety observations, and understand the sequence of work. Punch List: Manage the punch list process towards the end of the project, coordinating subcontractors to complete outstanding items efficiently. Photos: Maintain a comprehensive photo log of the project progress (using Procore or similar tools). Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field is required. Experience: 0-3 years of experience. Previous internships in commercial construction are highly preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project) and PDF editing software (Bluebeam Revu). Familiarity with construction management software (Procore) is a major plus. Communication: Strong written skills are essential (you will be writing many professional emails and RFIs). Distribution Support Modeling and Engineering Specialist/Analyst The Network Management System (NMS) plays a vital role in Georgia Power's operation of the electrical distribution system. The DistGIS database serves as the asset repository for all power delivery infrastructure within the Georgia Power footprint and drives the creation of the network model. This network model is foundational for NMS. This position is responsible for applying revisions to the network via patches to the model build environment before moving it to the production environment. Revisions may include addition of new power delivery infrastructure, changes to existing infrastructure, or equipment retirement. Soil Density Testing: The technician must be able to repeatedly drop a 25-pound drop slide hammer to drive sampling tubes into the ground and then manually excavate the sampling tubes back out of the ground with mattock and shovel.
