Mechanical Engineer- Schaumburg, IL Responsibilities Take ownership of two existing PCB enclosure designs, driving sustaining improvements and releases. Lead rapid prototyping and hands-on troubleshooting in both manufacturing and field settings. Design for environmental sealing and robust cable/connector interfaces, including routing, strain relief, and ingress protection. Collaborate with Electrical/RF teams to plan and execute environmental and EMI/EMF evaluations. Plan and conduct thermal and vibration tests, translating results into iterative design updates. Produce clear DFx (DFM/DFA) documentation, drawings, stack-ups, and release artifacts. Essential Skills Ability to operate successfully under pressure in fast-paced hardware environments.
