Summary:
Responsible for receiving money in the form of cash, check, or credit card from customer or employees in exchange for food or services. Scans items, provides change, balances drawer, and processes card transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Computes or recomputes bill, itemized lists, and ticket voucher showing amount due.
Makes change and issues receipts or tickets to customers.
Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.
Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand.
Quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received.
Respond to customers complaints and take necessary action to resolve their issues.
Operates cash register by passing price coded items across electronic scanner to record price, compile printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen.

Schedule/Hours: Varies. Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 PM with some evenings and weekends.
Performs a variety of skilled maintenance and preventative work for buildings and grounds including heating, ventilation, electrical, and air conditioning work as well as day-to-day routine maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repairs mechanical malfunctions and performs preventative maintenance on heating and air condition equipment; adjusts and repairs physical plant machinery, heating and cooling systems.
• Performs skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering and plumbing; oversees the work of outside vendors, etc.
• Constructs and repairs building structures, walls, floors, ceilings, cabinets and furniture.
• Participates in the repair of toilets, urinals, showers, drains, etc.; participates in the repair and replacement of light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, spotlights, exit lights, and other minor lighting malfunctions; assists in maintaining and/or fixing related issues with cooling and heating system, water pump system, and other issues that the building may require.
Physical Requirements and working conditions:
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
• Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing maintenance work.
• Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to changes in temperatures, dirt and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors. Work requires driving a vehicle and working outdoors daily with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D., with two years course work from a technical or vocational school in the major trades including construction, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred,

Three to five years experience in the construction industry performing skilled work in one of the major trades, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry,
or
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
