Job Description Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is seeking talented college students to join our 2026 summer internship program. Our 12-week internship program is designed to provide real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you! As an intern, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve real-world challenges and change the way we do business. The Capture Engineering Intern will work within our New Business Development and Capture Teams to help grow EBAD's business! They will work with our Capture Engineers to develop and tailor EBAD solutions to customer problems through rapid design, prototyping, analysis, and test activities. This position is located in Simsbury, CT or Graham, KY and reports to the Director, Warfighter. Responsibilities: The Program Manager will support the strategy and execution of a portfolio of defense products, sold to domestic and international customers. The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for external customers and is responsible for maximizing results in terms of on-time delivery, quality, and cost. Preferred Skills: Prior ordnance and explosives background Four (4) to Six (6) years of experience with working low volume, high mix programs in an Engineering or Program Management role within the Aerospace & Defense industry BS Degree in an engineering discipline is required. Mechanical or materials science background preferred. Must be a hands-on self-starter motivated to grow within the organization Effective communication skills will be weighed heavily Some technical design and manufacturing processes knowledge is required Team Player 15% foreign and domestic travel is required. Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in engineering required · Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of project management or the equivalent combination of education and experience. · Experience with product development and/or complex production operations is preferred. · Project Management Professional (PMP) certification not required but desirable. · Required experience includes problem solving/root cause analysis, leadership of multi-function technical teams, project management, technical writing and cost estimating experience. · Support the development, monitoring and management of project budgets. · Must have or be able to obtain a U.S Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance and be capable of working on U.S. DoD and ITAR restricted products. · Strong interpersonal and written communication. · Proficient with Microsoft office suite software (Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
