Responsibilities:

BB&E is a full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.
Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented 508 Compliance Technician to join our team to provide project delivery business process support services to the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Caribbean District (South Atlantic Division [SAA]) in Puerto Rico which is responsible for managing the planning, design, and construction of Civil Works, Military and Interagency and International Support (IIS) Projects throughout the Caribbean region. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all digital content, tools, and documents meet accessibility standards under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The 508 Compliance Technician will conduct audits of digital assets, remediate non-compliance issues, and provide guidance and training to project teams on how to create accessible content for individuals with disabilities.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Compliance & Auditing
o Audit digital assets (documents, websites, multimedia, software tools, etc.) to ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards, including testing for compatibility with assistive technologies like screen readers, voice recognition software, and alternative input devices
o Remediate non-compliant content by identifying and fixing accessibility issues within documents, websites, and other digital media, ensuring full adherence to standards
o Conduct periodic accessibility checks and follow-up audits on content updates and new digital products, ensuring ongoing compliance
· Training & Guidance
o Provide guidance to teams (e.g., engineers, designers, project managers) on creating accessible content. This includes best practices for digital document creation, formatting, and accessibility tools
o Develop and deliver training programs and materials on accessibility standards for team members, ensuring the adoption of Section 508-compliant practices in all digital assets produced by the organization
o Advise stakeholders and clients on the requirements of Section 508, including recommendations for improving accessibility in digital products

Summary:

Provide assistance to operations in accordance with environmental management, occupational health and safety (EHS) systems and promote continuous improvement. Comply with all EHS procedures and policies including incident reporting, use of PPE, waste management and disposal, and any other program applicable according to the position duties.
Supply materials and gowning to manufacturing areas.
Follow Good Documentation Practices GDPs.
Qualifications
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. AD and or BD in sciences is highly preferred.
Able to read and comprehend written information to include Corporate Quality Documents, Divisional Operating Procedures, Departmental Operating Procedures and Safety Guidelines.
Comply with cGMP, regulatory guidelines and able to write legibility in English and complete accurate and legible written records in compliance with cGMP when documenting work performed, on paper documents and electronic devices auditable by regulatory agencies.
Ability to operate a computer to complete required compliance; technical training.
Capable to learn and perform cleaning techniques to meet regulatory requirements.
Work alone or as a team member sharing responsibility and work tasks.
Able to perform all cleaning specialist job functions.
Performs industrial cleaning of production areas. May include mixing chemical solutions/solvents to clean necessary work areas.

The GMP Tech will be responsible for keeping assigned areas within GMP in clean and orderly condition. The tech will work successfully with fellow employees and others while understanding and following instructions, both verbal and written. The individual should be able to explain how to complete a task, using basic communication skills.

* Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer Standard Operating Procedures
* Complete all safety certifications including chemical safety
* Available to act as area fill-in in the event of general staff shortage
* Support shift lead in completing work orders and internally identified items for assigned area

**Job Summary:**

**Job Responsibilities:** (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
1. Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and solving issues with process machinery.
2. Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance documentation.
3. Responsible for maintaining spare parts for its assigned equipment; all additional machine components as necessary.
4. Makes recommendations for equipment improvement and work with engineer and production supervisors to attain cost saving and machine efficiency goals.
5. Must be able to fabricate machine parts in the maintenance shop.
6. Support process improvement projects and qualification effort.
7. Complete and detail preventive maintenance work orders.
8. Complete and detail corrective maintenance on equipment.
9. Complete and document validations.
10. Incumbent is expected to be able to provide technical guidance to machine set ups and operators.
11. Align with Good Documentation Practices.
12. Align with GMP requirements.
13. Align with OSHA and PROSHO requirements.
14. Responsible for working in accordance with the training, work procedures and instructions to ensure satisfactory EHS performance.

Job Description
The EnvironmentalTechnician will support daily environmental compliance activities within a medical device manufacturing facility. This role is hands‑on and field‑oriented, focusing on hazardous waste management, storm-water inspections, and compliance with the Multi‑Sector General Permit (MSGP) and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) requirements. Key Responsibilities
Hazardous Waste Management
Perform daily collection, labeling, handling, and staging of hazardous waste in accordance with EPA RCRA regulations.

Coordinate pickups with approved hazardous waste transporters.
Ensure proper segregation and storage of chemical waste materials.
Storm-water / MSGP Compliance
