Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, Zoology, or a closely related field. Minimum of five years of professional experience in wildlife research, environmental consulting, or conservation management. Proven experience with habitat assessment, wildlife survey techniques, and field data collection. Professional certification or the active pursuit of registration (e.g., Certified Wildlife Biologist/Associate Wildlife Biologist). The Environmental Field Laborer (Field Tech) must be able to work in compliance on various remediation and industrial maintenance projects. They must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Execution of field work encompassed in remediation and industrial maintenance projects while under direct or indirect supervision. Correct completion of all job-specific, employee-related MER paper work including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver's Logs and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms. Experience in emergency response, manual labor, general construction and/or industrial cleaning is preferred. A valid Class “D” Driver's License is required. TWIC preferred. OSHA 40-HR HAZWOPER & Confined Space Entry certifications are desired but not required. Get hands-on experience working with our skilled Environmental Services team as an environmental biologist, engineer, geologist, or scientist. What You'll Do: Environmental Biologist: Your work would include participation in wetland delineation activities. $18.00 - $19.00/hour. Environmental Engineer: Your work would include industrial regulatory compliance associated with the Clean Air Act, solid and hazardous waste programs, and other related environmental permitting projects. $20.00 - $23.00/hour. Environmental Geologist: Your work would include participating in field sampling activities and working on geology projects. $18.00 - $19.00/hour. Environmental Scientist: Your work would include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and other ‘due diligence' related tasks. $18.00 - $19.00/hour. Requirements Eligibility: Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license. Local and out of town travel may be required.
