Performs other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform standard maintenance work on drill and support equipment Drive/operate diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (backhoe, trencher, directional bore, bucket truck) Locate buried wiring/cabling and install underground telecommunications cables Install coax and fiber systems using ditch witch or vermeer type drill Flagging/Safely coordinate vehicles and equipment within public areas/active work sites Restore worksite Perform general construction work using using hand tools under direction of Foreman Performs other duties as necessary What Will You Need: HS diploma Valid drivers license with clean driving record Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship Minimum 2 years' experience in directional drilling/locating Ability to locate and dig around utilities to install underground conduit and fiber optic cable Ability to complete daily bore logs manually and electronically Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for the project build process Ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies Positive attitude and ability to complete tasks on schedule Ability to maintain positive working relationships What We Offer: At McCall-Thomas, we offer employees the chance to work with great people on exciting projects, with opportunity for growth.
