POSITION SCOPE
Fisher Sand and Gravel is now hiring experienced Concrete Pump Operators. Individuals must possess a valid Class A or B CDL for this position. Prior driving experience and attention to detail are a must to ensure pre-trip and post-trip DOT standards are meet, concrete pumps are operated safely, and quality service is provided to our clients. This is a safety sensitive position.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Pre-trip inspections of concrete pumps pursuant to DOT regulations including checking fluid levels, brakes, hydraulic systems and other driver operated controls
Check valves and fill water tank before each project
Safely drives concrete pump to project sites as assigned and work with contractor to set up pump in a safe position
Use map book and driving experience to take most direct route to job site to ensure on-time service
Pump concrete pursuant to customer desire with respect to yards per hour in safest manner
Upon completion, operator will clean out pump systems in an environmentally responsible manner
Keep pump dispatch informed as to status of projects via two-way radio, digital pagers, and cellular phones, if available
Prior to leaving job site, driver is responsible for completing all paperwork and collection of monies if necessary
Each operator is expected to perform a post-trip inspection of concrete pump pursuant to DOT standards and communicate any needed repairs to maintenance immediately
Each operator is responsible to call callout each day for start time
If not billed out on a pump and called to work, operator may be asked to work or clean on pump, assist at a batch or perform other duties as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned

GE is searching for a qualified Heavy EquipmentOperator responsible for operating various excavation equipment as specified by supervisor. The qualified candidate works on construction projects in an equipmentoperator capacity, however, will also serve in a utility (laborer) capacity, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Assist in the loading / unloading of equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments and properly securing work area.
Excavates trenches for and around new and existing utilities, observing safety rules, often with workers in trench.
Checks slopes using instruments such as lasers, grade rods or transit level.
Ensures work is completed to specification by observing grade stakes, material levels, hand signals and other markers. .
Assists in aligning pipes during pipeline construction for water, storm and sanitary sewer.
Grades and level trench bases, using tamping machine and hand tools.
Connects pipes and seals joints using glue, cement, gaskets and / or flanges.
Effectively completes excavation and related tasks such as backfilling excavations and breaking concrete or rock using appropriate equipment.
Covers pipes using equipment and shovels with earth material / aggregates.
Performs daily inspection and ensures that machine is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
Reports to foreman and shop when equipment needs maintenance and repair.
Ability to safely identify utilities in the trench/bore path.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet) and able to perform work on uneven surfaces.
Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite.
Works closely with crewmembers using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.
Must excavate around utility lines with precision to avoid damage to lines and ensure safety of personnel in trench.
Places and removes trench boxes safely.
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination and stamina necessary to complete jobs with various conditions and terrains.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds and push / or pull 50 pound loads at a time.
Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.

About the Position:
A Skillit customer is looking for 20+ Heavy EquipmentOperators around Cheyenne, Wyoming for an immediate start.
Any workers that live 90+ miles away from the site will receive Per Diem.
This job will serve the front range and the mountains for various jobs around the below listed markets, starting with the project in Cheyenne.
Salary Range: $30 - $36 per hour
+ per diem for any workers living 90+ miles from the job site in Cheyenne.

Heres what Skillit needs from you:
Valid Drivers License.
Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
Familiarity with GPS systems. (3D modeling software)
Prior construction experience.
Preferred:
High school diploma.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
OSHA 10 certification.
Experience with wet utilities, compaction requirements, scrapers, and motor graders.
Willingness to travel (Per-diem included if working outside of Denver)
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Upper body strength and overall physical agility to complete tasks (ex. Operating a backhoe).
Ability to move heavy objects is often required to remove rocks and debris.
Ability to detect necessary equipment repairs by visually and/or audibly perceiving malfunctions.
Make fine, highly controlled muscular movements to adjust the position of a control mechanism.
Move heavy objects (50 LB) long distances (more than 20 feet)
Operators are frequently expected to work in rain and snow.
Work under hazardous conditions where physical danger exists due to mechanical equipment.
Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
Heres what youll be doing:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, bulldozers, and more.
Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all safety guidelines.
Read and understand blueprints and site plans.
Mentor and support less experienced operators.
Work independently or as directed by the Foreman to meet project goals.
Help maintain quality and schedule by working efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure safe and smooth site operations.

As our AT HDD Operator, you'll work with:
Drills up to 100k lbs in all kinds of ground conditions-rock, native, you name it!
Big pipe bores-we're talking up to 28" diameter
Wireline locating tools that keep the project on point
Mud reclaimers and smart drilling solutions
Whether you're boring under rivers or highways, navigating mountains, or dropping grade bores for power, water, sewer, or telecom-we do the cool, complex, high-stakes bores others avoid.

Running badass rigs like Ditch Witch, Vermeer, American Auger
Reading profiles like a boss and following through with high-precision bores
Mastering TK, DCI, and magnetic locating tools
Keeping the schedule tight, the worksite safe, and the client happy
Your Toolbox (aka What You Bring)
3+ years on HDD equipment or support gear (skid steers, vac trucks, crane trucks, etc.)
Proven experience drilling in mixed soils & using the right mud mix
Valid Class A CDL (tanker endorsement = bonus points)
AT Drilling & walk-over locating know-how (grade bores = big win!)
Great at troubleshooting, thinking critically, and owning your work
Serious about safety-no shortcuts here
Ready to travel, stay flexible, and jump in when needed
