Concrete Paver Operator - Beaumont, TX Southland Holdings is seeking highly motivated Concrete Paver Operators to join our construction team in Beaumont, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a company with a strong legacy of delivering critical infrastructure projects across North America. Responsibilities: * Operate concrete paving and spreading equipment to distribute and level concrete according to project specifications. * Control machinery to ensure proper depth, width, and finish of concrete surfaces. * Work in coordination with other team members, including concrete finishers, to ensure quality and efficiency. * Follow safety procedures and identify potential hazards while operating equipment on construction sites. * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Requirements: * 3+ years of experience operating concrete placing/spreading equipment or similar heavy machinery. Experience with Gomaco 2400, 2600, and 2800 preferred. * Background in heavy civil construction, particularly in concrete placement and finishing. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. * Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies. Heavy Equipment Operator: The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as skidsteers, excavators, and loaders.
