* Willingness to work extended hours, early mornings, and weekends as needed.

You have previous experience working as an HGV and vacuum excavator driver/operator and hold a full HGV Class 2 licence (Category C). A suction excavator CPCS qualification and/or EUSR qualification would be highly beneficial. A good understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards is essential for this role.
Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous, allowing you to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues while on the road. Excellent communication skills are important, as you will be working closely with clients and team members, and you will need to be able to work independently, managing your time effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment will also help you to succeed in this role. This position would suit a Category 3 HGV Driver who will operate the vacuum excavator to assist with no-dig repair and maintenance activities, ensuring essential works are carried out safely and efficiently.

Federated Co-ops, Inc. has an opening for an EquipmentOperator / Custom Applicator to work out of our Rush City Country Store & Agronomy Center! As an EquipmentOperator / Custom Applicator, you will operate a custom application unit providing application of crop protection products and crop nutrients for customers in a timely, accurate manner for their farming operations. This position will perform maintenance and assistance in all aspects of the Co-ops operations as directed when not operating a custom application machine.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the EquipmentOperator / Custom Applicator include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operate large modern application equipment
Work in our shop maintaining our equipmentOperates computers on equipment
Deliver, mix, load/unload, and provide application of pesticides/fertilizers and seed
Handles and delivers bulk and packaged goods
Responsible for daily maintenance, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance of equipment and facilities
Maintain application/spray records
Drive and operate trucks, vehicles, equipment and tools safely and efficiently by following all current D.O.T. regulations, company policies, manufacturer instructions, state and local laws and codes, and any other applicable laws, codes or regulations.
Perform winter maintenance on fertilizer equipment and make needed improvements on all fertilizer facilities
Work closely with producers and fellow employees to provide outstanding customer service
Attend continuing education courses to maintain a quality level of knowledge for the products, regulations and customer relations
Operate fleet trucks as directed by Location Manager during the off season
Scout fields for weed and insect problems. Take soil samples, make field maps
Must be able to communicate in a professional manner to the Producer, Salesperson and Location Manager
Complete daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications
Experience:
Prefer 3-5 years previous Ag applications experience.
Prefer 3-5 years previous Tender truck and equipment maintenance experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
Currently holds a class D license
Currently holds or able to obtain a class B Commercial Driver's License
Currently holds or able to obtain Tanker Endorsements
Currently holds or able to obtain Commercial Applicator's License
Class A license is a plus
