Clear construction areas of debris and other hazardous materials prior to beginning a project, and dispose of it properly. Transport waste to appropriate locations, if required. Ensure that heavy equipment that is to be used on a construction project is cleaned on a regular basis. Maintain and update inventory of supplies, material and equipment used in each project. Perform preventative and general maintenance on heavy equipment. Make sure that heavy equipment is safe for use by performing constant checks. Ensure that all equipment is safely and securely stored at the end of each work day. Take instruction from supervisor for daily work tasks and provide feedback to supervisor on a daily basis.
