As a Waterproofing Construction Estimator, you will be at the forefront of our project development process. Your meticulous attention to detail and thorough understanding of commercial construction practices will be instrumental in accurately assessing project costs, facilitating successful bidding processes, and ultimately contributing to the profitability and success of our projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure comprehensive pricing coverage and adherence to project requirements. Key Responsibilities
Prior to beginning work become familiar with and review all bidding requirements in addition to the project documents.
Review project type and requirements and select subcontractors and material suppliers from the master bidders' lists that are appropriate for the project. Send out bid invitations via the latest bid invitation software and update the bidders' list as required. Contact key subcontractors and vendors early in the process to ensure pricing coverage.
Attend pre-bid meetings as required. Survey the situation to determine competition on the project. Review site logistics and access while on site.
Prepare “take off” and check for completeness. Coordinate with 3rd party quantity take-off consultants when so utilized.
Prepare pricing for all self-preformed work and adjust standard productivity in accordance with job requirements.
Prepare estimate summary sheets, subcontractor/vendor comparisons, and bid sheets.
Communicate with designers on contract document items not clearly shown on the bid documents. Document using RFI's (Request for Information).
Qualifications
5-10 years of job experience in commercial construction highly preferred.
Experience in Waterproofing Estimating.
BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
Thorough understanding of industry practices and standards.
Strong foundation in database management (ex. Excel) and related industry software (ex. Bluebeam).

Sr. Electrical Estimator will be responsible for estimating projects, labor and materials cost, and communicating financial cost and project timelines based on specifications/drawings/narratives. Sr. Electrical Estimator must have keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and be able to work in a team environment. This role reports to the CFO/COO.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical installation ranging in size from small projects to $40M+
Experience in Budgets from narratives.
Experience in Pharma, manufacturing, healthcare, industrial and other non-commercial projects.
Develop Invitations to Bid and Bill of Materials for estimates.
Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprint, specifications, and related documents.
Determine and price value-engineered items from plans and specifications.
Provide leadership with project red-flags and specific constraints for review and consideration before bid submission.
Perform budget pricing from schematic or DD drawings and/or narratives.
Draft proposal letters for customers
Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and conferences with clients.
Maintain clear and concise bid notes and documentation. Update bid with RFI responses and addendums issued by the client.
Review subcontractor and vendor quotes to verify needs of the project.
Include proposed project management in bid strategy and pricing.
Review bids with senior leadership and owners for input prior to bid submission.
Conduct project turnover meeting (page turn) with project manager and superintendent(s) for awarded jobs.
Minimum Requirements
5 Years of Field install experience is preferred but not required.
A minimum of 7-10 years of electrical estimating experience on projects in excess of $10M
Extensive working knowledge of Accubid estimating software. Experience with Live Count preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as word, excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Bluebeam is preferred.
A high school diploma or GED is required, but a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar studies is preferred.
Be able to work in a calm and organized manner within project deadlines.
Travel as necessary to attend job walks, pre-bid meetings and client conferences.
