Qualifications

Estimating Manager
MAJOR FUNCTION
Provides Corporate Estimating Support to all districts. Estimating managers are responsible for estimating the cost of projects and materials. They work with a variety of different teams, including construction crews, purchasing agents, and other managers to determine how much it will cost to complete a project or purchase certain materials.
Reports to the Local Regional Vice President and Vice President of Estimating.

The position will pay between 120K - 145K
Responsibilities
Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed estimates at all project phases
Review drawings and specifications to define scope, pricing, risks, and bid requirements
Level subcontractor proposals and incorporate historical and market cost data
Maintain organized estimating files, metrics, and variance reports
Support subcontract purchasing, awards, and contract documentation
Assist in enforcing safety standards during preconstruction
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
5+ years of construction estimating experience
Strong knowledge of estimating practices, construction methods, and cost controls
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with the New York construction market preferred
