    North Brunswick, NJ Blue Line Drywall & Builders is seeking a full-time Construction Estimator with specific experience in drywall, insulation, and metal framing to join our growing team. This role will work closely with Senior Estimators and Preconstruction teams to review project plans, specifications, and requirements. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate takeoffs, pricing, and bids for commercial and residential construction projects while adhering to Blue Line's standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate, detailed, and well-organized estimates and proposals for drywall, insulation, and metal framing scopes across Stipulated Price, Design-Build, and Construction/Project Management project formats. Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine complete project scope, with particular focus on drywall assemblies, insulation systems, and metal stud framing. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for gypsum board, insulation (thermal, acoustic, and fire-rated), metal studs, track, accessories, and related materials. Price labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work specific to drywall and framing systems. Maintain strong working relationships with clients. Coordinate and communicate with Business Development regarding new and ongoing projects. Conduct site visits as required to support estimating, scope verification, and preconstruction planning. Essential Skills & Competencies Proven knowledge of drywall systems, insulation types, and metal framing assemblies, including fire-rated and sound-rated wall and ceiling systems. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing related to interior build-outs. Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural and structural drawings and specifications. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated professional with strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Qualifications Demonstrated experience estimating drywall, insulation, and metal framing projects. Prior experience in commercial and/or residential construction estimating. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, OST, or similar platforms. Working knowledge of Salesforce, PlanGrid, and Procore preferred.
