    We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in General Medicine for a locum tenens position near Three Rivers, California. This is an excellent opportunity to work with veterans and provide Compensation & Pension exams, as well as Separation Health Assessments, in a supportive and structured environment. Job Details: Position Type: Locum Tenens, PRN (as needed basis) Location: Near Three Rivers, California Shift: PRN, as needed Half days (4-hour shifts) or full days (8-hour shifts) available No weekend or on-call requirements Key Responsibilities: Perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams, as well as Separation Health Assessments for veterans. Primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, such as range of motion testing and muscle strength evaluations. Utilize a goniometer for musculoskeletal evaluations. Conduct METs testing and evaluate respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Complete reports and submit required documentation within 48 hours post-exam via an online portal. Follow up with additional administrative work as needed (e.g., addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostics). Qualifications: License: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in California. Certification: AANP certification required. Experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or orthopedic surgery preferred. Proficiency in performing METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal conditions. Must own a laptop (no Apple/Mac products) for accessing the online portal.
