Grind, polish, wire wheel and prepare parts for welding as instructed. Use cleaners to clean parts before welding. Can read and understand blueprints and welding drawings to properly lay out parts. Can perform math including algebra and basic trigonometry. Can fully read and understand welding procedures. Can communicate and job instructions and direct fitter helper with project assignments Maintain an impeccable attendance record with ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as necessary Demonstrates teamwork and the ability to work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, managers, customers, third party representatives and others as required. Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with company safety and quality policies.
