OVERVIEW:
The School of Business at Montclair State University invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics to teach undergraduate-level courses. Courses may be offered in person, online, or in a hybrid format, depending on scheduling and program needs. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about teaching and committed to student success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach one or more courses in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics, including areas such as Spreadsheet Modeling, Survey of Information Systems, Operations Management, Business Statistics, Business Programming (Python), Database Systems, Data Visualization, Business Analytics.
Prepare and deliver course content aligned with departmental learning goals and student outcomes.
Maintain timely communication with students and provide appropriate feedback and support.
Collaborate with departmental faculty and staff as needed to ensure instructional quality.
Comply with university policies and procedures, including timely submission of grades and syllabi.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
Professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related fields.
PREFERRED
College-level teaching experience (in-person and/or online)
Familiarity with online teaching tools and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas)
