Job Purpose:
As a Summer Financial Analyst in the Corporate Valuation Advisory Services (CVAS) practice's Complex Securities team, you will join a small, specialized, and fast growing team serving corporate clients from a large variety of industries. Every effort will be made to provide each intern with a substantive writing assignment that may be used as a future writing sample in job searches.

Responsibilities:
Management candidates will begin their employment in our extensive hands-on Manager Training Program. Our paid training program allows candidates to further develop their leadership skills while also preparing them to fulfill a management-level position in their designated department. Advancement is based on performance, and the majority of our upper management and corporate employees have been promoted from within. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Upholding customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic's standards for quality
Mastering basic employee responsibilities within your assigned department
Working hands-on alongside the employees
Training, coaching, and evaluating employees' performance
Ensuring that employees adhere to all safety regulations
Preparing and reviewing reports, including the department's staffing schedule and financials
Addressing all customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner
Performing regular maintenance and minor repairs to mechanical systems and/or equipment

The architectural and urban design intern will undertake various assignments requiring the application of standard architectural and urban design processes, contribute to the development of solutions, prepare presentation drawings, and develop models for concept discussion and communication internally and externally.

Requirements
Pursuing a master's degree in architecture or urban planning and design (minimum 3 years of education completed)
Interest in working at the urban and multi-building scale
Knowledge of analytical mapping and conceptual diagrams
Introductory level visualization skills in 2D and 3D
Proficiency with Adobe CS, Rhino, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Grasshopper (or other comparable parametric design software).
Knowledge of Revit is preferred but not required.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary of $115,000 (pro-rated for the 10-week internship program) for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
