Duties & Responsibilities
First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store. Responsible for engaging customers, scheduling appointments, building trust, understanding needs, communicating processes and timelines, and selling parts and service that make the customer's car run at peak efficiency; adheres to Company Customer Care standards to meet customer expectations.
Responsible for the organization and productivity of the service business through work order and register transactions, thorough vehicle inspections, and service and replacement part knowledge.
Under the direction of Management, assists in various aspects of customer care, work order and register assistance, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase (OP) ordering.
Follow all policies and procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund and return policies. Works with the management team to react to customer service issues, customer complaints, and/or business opportunities.
Conduct and participate in routine express automotive services, including tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and repair; oil changes, fluid top-offs, lubrications, filter and bulb replacement; battery installation, starting and charging system testing; cosmetic car services, and thorough vehicle inspection.
Primary driving force behind the implementation and constant execution of safety procedures, ensuring wheel torque and oil/fluid services are performed per standard operating procedure directives.
Partner with Management to produce a safe and health work environment that complies with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as with company policies and procedures.
Effectively communicate with all associates, management, and customers; interprets and retains information and applies knowledge appropriately.
In designated locations, may be a secondary key carrier responsible for basic and detailed opening and closing responsibilities.
Maintain an organized and neat shop.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.
Other duties as assigned.

One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.

Partners as appropriate to interview, hire, demote, and promote external and internal candidates.
Monitor the shop productivity, workflow, and procedures with an emphasis on efficiency, thoroughness, and safety. Largely responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the back shop, such as ensuring that the service staff complete CVIs and proper service repairs.
Ensure the execution of customer service standards and customer satisfaction programs, and ensure the equitable resolution of customer complaints. Follow all policies and procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund and return policies.
Follow all policies and procedures related to all point of sale (POS) transactions, inventory integrity, reverse logistics and purchase for re-sale parts (OP) procurement and vendor payment practices.
Partner with the Fleet business team to maintain and build Fleet service customer relationships.
Advise associates, technicians, and customers on tires, parts and service programs.
Effectively communicates with all store associates, managers, and customers.

About the Role:
The Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on needs of the business. The Technician is primarily responsible for conducting basic vehicle diagnostics and performing routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This position is expected to deliver exceptional 5 Star service to our guests, through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions, as well as consistently meeting guest expectations for time commitments and quality.
This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.
Responsibilities:
· Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
· Consistently complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process, on every guest vehicle, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs; Audit courtesy inspections performed by the General Service Technicians
· Assist in inventory management to include pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
· Assist with all general store duties, ensuring the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and consistently in guest ready condition.
· Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with Monro's safety standards including but not limited to Monro's Wheel Torque, Oil safety and compliance procedures
· Test drive vehicles in accordance with Monro's Road Test policy, including consistently utilizing our dedicated test drive routes, while maintaining all local traffic and safety laws
· Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, Governmental standards including environmental codes and ANSI/OSHA standards. Consistent use of all required safety standards set forth in training and policies and procedures.

Penske Truck Leasing seeks highly motivated and qualified applicants to fill the unique position of Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver). This position is responsible for vehicle delivery and returning vehicles to Penske locations and Penske customers. Primarily, this position moves our box trucks up to 26' and for CDL Class A will include tractors and trailer movement. Position may also provide assistance to the service department to deliver parts and equipment.
This is a casual/on-call part-time truck driving job that is perfect for licensed CDL Class B or CDL Class A drivers seeking supplemental income and looking to work anywhere from 0 to 25 hours a week based on business needs.

**Major Responsibilities:**
- Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of Penske location or customer locations
- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to location manager if any issues are found
- Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles

**Qualifications:**
- 2 years of driving experience required
- 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required
- Valid Class B CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- CDL Class A license preferred
- Ability to read and follow written instructions is required.
- Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required
- In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

About The Role:
The General Service Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on needs of the business. The General Service Technician is responsible for performing basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This position is expected to deliver exceptional 5 Star service to our guests, through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions while ensuring that guest expectations for time commitments and quality are consistently met.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs effectively and efficiently in accordance with Monro standards of operation.
Tire Services - perform wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, changing, mounting, installation and TPMS service and repair.
Vehicle Services - perform lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance (e.g.: bulb, wiper blade and filter replacements, etc.), battery testing and installations.
Consistently complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process, on every guest vehicle, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs.
Assist in inventory management to include pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
Assist with all general store duties, ensuring the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and consistently in guest ready condition.
Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with Monro's safety standards including but not limited to Monro's Wheel Torque, Oil safety and compliance procedures.
Test drive vehicles in accordance with Monro's Road Test policy, including consistently utilizing our dedicated test drive routes, while observing all local traffic and safety laws.
Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, Governmental standards including environmental codes and ANSI/OSHA standards. Consistent use of all required safety standards set forth in training and policies and procedures.

About The Role:
The General Service Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on needs of the business. The General Service Technician is responsible for performing basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This position is expected to deliver exceptional 5 Star service to our guests, through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions while ensuring that guest expectations for time commitments and quality are consistently met.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs effectively and efficiently in accordance with Monro standards of operation.
Tire Services - perform wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, changing, mounting, installation and TPMS service and repair.
Vehicle Services - perform lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance (e.g.: bulb, wiper blade and filter replacements, etc.), battery testing and installations.
Consistently complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process, on every guest vehicle, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs.
Assist in inventory management to include pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
Assist with all general store duties, ensuring the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and consistently in guest ready condition.
Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with Monro's safety standards including but not limited to Monro's Wheel Torque, Oil safety and compliance procedures.
Test drive vehicles in accordance with Monro's Road Test policy, including consistently utilizing our dedicated test drive routes, while observing all local traffic and safety laws.
Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, Governmental standards including environmental codes and ANSI/OSHA standards. Consistent use of all required safety standards set forth in training and policies and procedures.
Maintain technical knowledge and capabilities to ensure proficiency through the timely completion of all required Monro University training courses and modules.
Operate, utilize, and maintain all equipment in a safe manner in accordance with Monro and equipment manufacturer guidelines including but not limited to lifts, welders, brake lathes, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned and required.
Compensation: The hourly range for this role is $16 - $18 This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives. Pay will be determined based on experience level.
