Responsibilities

Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
Prepare RFI's & Submittal's and material takeoffs
Processes material receiving documentation and assist cost coding
Maintain accurate and updated logs for weekly progress tracking
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mech/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
1 - 3 years' of experience as a Project Engineer Intern or other construction related fields
Ability to learn construction technology software i.e. Bluebeam, Procore, P6, and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with safety rules, regulations, best practices and QA/QC performance standards
Prior Water & Wastewater knowledge or work experience preferred

Requirements:
Must have experience leading stack emissions testing projects in the field.
Preferred experience with, client interface, safety leadership, data collection, quality initiatives and timely deliverables to the clients

Flexibility to work 40+ hours per week as well as some overnight stays & travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting. Ensures the timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of meeting agendas, RFl's and daily reports.
2. Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and is involved in support and execution of the plan. It is preferred to have certifications or training from ACI, ICC, NICET, NCDOT and/or SCDOT; Nuclear Gauge Certification a plus. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred. Valid Drivers License with acceptable driving record and pre-employment drug screening is required.
