* Act as technical liaison between Sales/Project Managers and Customers.
* Work with contractors/customers to answer application and installation questions.
* Preparation of detailed Engineering Submittals for complete standby power systems, industrial engine, and marine projects as assigned.
* Interface with Caterpillar factory and other outside vendors to gather required documentation.
* Generate official correspondence and responses to submittal review comments from consulting engineers and contractors.
* Preparation of Operation and Maintenance Manuals and other close-out documentation as may be required.
* Maintain and revise the Peterson Power Drawings Database.
* Maintain and update the CAT Drawings Database.
* Work in concert with Project Managers on assigned projects.
* Up to 10% travel to customers and vendor meetings, and jobsites out of our territory.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Mechanical or Electrical Engineeringor other closely related field; and a minimum of three years of directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
